  1. Good morning,

I am a double bassist who lives 3.5 hours south of Kansas City in northwest Arkansas. I am interested in attending Rabbath’s recital and, if it is possible, one of his master classes. I have a Doctorate in Double Bass performance and played full time 20+ years with the Florida Philharmonic.

I am now 61 years old and not so keen on being a participant in the camp activities with the younger students, but of course am very interested in what they may be doing. Please let me know how to buy tickets to the Thursday night Rabbath recital and if there are any other activities I might observe.

I also have a double bass studio down here and will be doing a bass camp at the University of Arkansas the end of this month. If you get me some info, I can pass the word, maybe even get a group to come up and hear Rabbath.

    Thanks so much,

  2. I drop a comment whenever I like a post on a site or if I have something to valuable to contribute
to the discussion. It is triggered by the sincerness communicated in the
post I read. And on this article Early Registration Discount for workshop expires
May 1st! | Kansas City Bass Workshop. I was excited enough to
post a thought 😛 I do have a few questions for you if you usually do not mind.

Could it be only me or does it look like a few of these remarks appear like they are coming from brain dead people?
😛 And, if you are posting at other online social sites, I’d like to follow everything fresh you have to post.
Could you make a list every one of all your shared sites like your Facebook page,
    twitter feed, or linkedin profile?

    • I don’t think they are brain dead people? Some are young kids ages 10-14 so maybe some are too young to post effectively? Not sure if I agree but, I know them as they are participants in the workshop. There is a kcbassworkshop Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/KcBassWorkshop and my personal page gets a lot of posts also. Johnny Hamil Facebook. I don’t blog on the website as much as I should as I don’t have as much time as I’d like. Thanks for the comments.
